Chin Hwee Tan, CFA, CPA

Mr. Tan Chin Hwee, CFA, CPA Mr. Tan is the first partner in Asia for Apollo Global Management, a leading USD93bn global alternative investor. He is voted by the Hedge Fund Journal as among the emerging top 40 absolute return investors globally and is also named as Best Asia Credit Hedge Fund by The Asset. Mr. Tan was honoured as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders 2010 and went to Harvard Kennedy School for the tailored executive program. He is a member of the Resource Panel for Government Parliamentary Committee for Finance and Trade and Industry for Singapore government. Mr Tan is a CFA charterholder and Certified Public Accountant (Singapore) and. He is an active volunteer and Board Member at CFA Singapore.

Dr. Thomas R. Robinson, CFA, CPA, CFP

As the managing director of the Education Division of CFA Institute, Dr. Thomas R. Robinson, CFA, leads and develops teams responsible for the production and delivery of educational content and examinations for candidates, members, and other investment professionals. Dr. Robinson joined CFA Institute as head of educational content in 2007 from the University of Miami, where he was an associate professor of accounting and director of the Master of Professional Accounting Program. Concurrently, he was managing director of a private wealth investment advisory firm, and served as a consultant in valuation and financial statement analysis. Prior to becoming an academic, Dr. Robinson worked in public accounting performing tax and financial planning services. He holds a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and a master's and a doctorate from Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Robinson is a Certified Public Accountant (Ohio), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and CFA charterholder. He was active both locally and nationally as a volunteer for CFA Institute and CFA Miami prior to joining the staff.
